Previously, Jamie worked for a recruitment firm in the UK specializing in recruiting engineers for large scale engineering projects all over the world, including Africa, Europe and Asia. And when he worked for Amway, Jamie was responsible for coordinating training projects between China, the US and South East Asia. He helped his colleagues bridge cultural differences, and adapt American training systems to the Chinese market, whilst exporting Chinese training solutions to the South East Asian market. Jamie draws upon his experience when training, especially referring to the cultural differences that he has managed to successfully communicate through.
Jamie’s training style reflects his personality and passion for learning; friendly but to the point. He focuses on creating a relaxed environment where the trainees feel free to open up and aren’t afraid of making mistakes. He takes an experiential approach to learning; presenting necessary information as efficiently as possible before moving on to engaging activities, followed by debriefing and focused feedback.
Jamie has a Masters Degree in HR Management from the University of Liverpool.
He speaks fluent Chinese (Mandarin) and is able to train in both English and Chinese.
